The Ethics Committee is one of the most integral departments of the Foundation handling with the enforcement of the Code of Ethics, and being taksed with upholding the Code of Ethics as well. Being invested with the authority to handle the Foundation's regulations is what makes is a critical factor for all foundation operations.
The Ethics Committee (EC), handles with the enforcement of the Code of Ethics, as well as the punishing of individuals and the appeals of individuals for those punishments, the Ethics Committee is widely considered to be the ultimate authority second only the O5 Command, and holds a significant role for all foundation operations alike.
The Ethics Committee is a Civil department that is tasked with providing and upkeeping the Code of Ethics, in addition to its maintenance must enforce it amongst all Foundation staff, regardless of biases, or intent it must be enforced at all times on all personnel with the exclusion of: O5 Command, O5 Head, and The Administrator. Additionally they are responsible for its appeals, and amendments related to newer Foundation procedures.
Investigative Board
The Investigative Board (IB) is a branch dedicated to the purposes of handling the responsibility of Enforcement of the Code of Ethics, and applying it to Foundation Personnel, they are also responsible for inquiries, and investigative materials and processes associated with the Ethics Committee.
They also handle with public affairs by responding to, and handling with tickets and processing them by the typical standards of the Investigative Board, additionally they also serve as of means to gather evidence for other cases if similar enough reports become adopted.
Judicial Board
The Judicial Board (JB) is a branch dedicated to the purposes of determining punishments, and suspension lengths. They are responsible for taking the inquiry from the Investigative Board and then applying it towards making a finalised decision. The Judicial Board is generally processed by a voting standard, where members of the board vote towards the most suitable punishment for a given case.
Note that only a supermajority verdict is necessary for optimising the nature of sentencing. This however changes on a few different factors: all members voting must not have a connection to the case, or a potential conflict of interest, among agents of the board, in the unlikely event that all members are in a conflict, it goes to High Command for voting.
The Ethics Committee uses the Public Affairs Server to handle with admission cycles, recruitment is done when needed and does not have a consistent schedule. The Ethics Committee will be expecting exceptional standards that relate that are necessary and are qualifications to handle with the position that you are applying for. Application standards are higher and more selective/restrictive to accommodate for this.
