The SCP Foundation established the Kynos after the failure of all other Foundation-operated Sites; leaving them with no other available areas of operation. With nothing left to lose, the KMS was established; founding some of the most secured locations, funded by multiple Nations, even surpassing several worldwide government Sites. Kynos III was founded; however failed due to it's lack of internal security as opposed to external security. Kynos IV was then established; and still operates today.
